For men, a BP check and diabetes screening can help identify risks early. For women, routine blood pressure monitoring and diabetes screening are also important parts of preventive adult care. Consistent follow-up can help protect your heart, kidneys, brain, and long-term health.
Adult internal medicine, chronic disease management, hypertension care, and wellness exams are available to members and non-members alike. No membership or concierge plan is required to make an appointment. We accept traditional insurance, and excellent care is available from board-certified providers.

Find Out Why
A preventive physical is primarily a screening exam. Your plan may cover it under its preventive-care rules, often with no cost-sharing when you use an in-network provider.
If the visit also includes evaluation or management of a separate concern: such as a new symptom, chronic-condition follow-up, medication change, or additional diagnostic work: the provider may bill a separately identifiable office-visit service. With a deductible plan, that service may apply to your deductible, even when the preventive exam itself is covered.
A preventive exam and a separate office visit can appear on the same claim. The charge may reflect your deductible, copay, or coinsurance: not necessarily that insurance was not used.
Before your appointment, ask what preventive services are covered, confirm the provider is in network, and review your Summary of Benefits. PCMD Primary Care offers annual exams, chronic disease management, BP checks, diabetes screening, and wellness screenings. Quality primary care is available to members and non-members alike; no special plan is required.
